The partnership between the California Department of Parks and Recreation and the city of Santa Monica proudly opens The Annenberg Community Beach House. The Beach House is a new public facility on the site of the former Marion Davies-William Randolph Hearst estate and is now open to the public with no membership required.

In the 1920's William Randolph Hearst built this beach house for his mistress, silent film star Marion Davies, the three-story mansion hosted many luminaries of Hollywood's Golden Era. It then became the Private beach home to the Sand and Sea Club, a posh celebrity beach club for many years before the city of Santa Monica took over the property.

The cleaning deposit is non-refundable and due at time of payment.
